End-user questionnaire

Dear Sir or Madam,

We are working on a research project funded by the European Commission as part of Framework Programme 7 (http://cordis.europa.eu/fp7/capacities/research-sme_en.html), intended to improve the competitiveness of small and medium enterprises (SME) in the field of outdoor advertising. The main object of ECOBOARD is to develop a cost effective and environmentally friendly Real-time Outdoor Media tool which can give the same visual effect as a paper based billboard, but without the use of paper, ink, and glue which pollute our world. Since the main purpose of the project is to provide a tool that can benefit the whole European media sector by providing an innovative advertising board that can reduce the cost of advertising, we would appreciate if you could share with us your point of view about the current trends in the advertising sector. We are interested in the most common types of outdoor advertising methods in your region, current systems that your company uses, and the desired developments if there is any. This information will enable us to make our specification closer to your real needs.

Please find below the mentioned questionnaire and take a few moments to fill out this short survey. This survey is a requirement from the European Commission, without this the project cannot go ahead, so we would really appreciate if you could help us by completing it. To make easier or to accelerate your decision, we are delighted to offer as an offset the summary of the nascent results. Namely for all the participants the foreseeable executive summary will be available on request. (Please do not forget to check the related box at the and of the questioner!)

During the project we will develop portable ECOBOARDs (ECODRIVES) as well. It means, if you complete the questionnaire and give us your full contact details you could be one of the first people to get one as a gift, displaying your company’s logo. In addition, we can update you periodically with the progress of ECOBOARD and once completed you can have “instant” access to this new innovative advertising tool.
